Last week, I wrote a post here about how I was listening to music more closely than I possibly ever have before.ipod-video-5th-gen-white-classic-256gb-ssd-upgrade-wolfson-dac-120gb-160gb-240gb-8 In addition to that, however, I am allowed to listen to my iPod at work sometimes, meaning I am listening to more music than I have in quite some time. Despite the fact that I have well over 1,000 songs on my iPod right now, the sheer amount of music I am listening to has caused me to become kind of bored with my collection.

Listening to the radio has been little to no help at all in finding anything new to listen to. I try very hard to not be a music snob and disparage the listening choices of others, but what I am hearing on the radio these days is so unimaginative and dull I can barely tolerate it. On the flipside, there is a ton of new music floating around on the internet, on YouTube, and even available for streaming through my local library. The only problem is, there is so much music out there that it is nearly impossible to sift through all of it to find anything good.

So, I need your help.

If you have been reading this blog for very long, you probably have a pretty good idea of my musical tastes. You also know the theme of the blog and how music is incorporated into that theme. What I would like are your musical suggestions. Who do you like listening to and why? What are some songs which really mean a lot to you? Where do you go to find new music? Basically, I want your suggestions to help me find some new music.

You can either leave your suggestions in the comments here, or you can email me at I can’t wait to hear about what music really moves and excites you!
